The volunteer Ambulance Reserve is a group of volunteers who assist the professional ambulance service at major incidents, during times of high demand and in adverse weather conditions.

What’s involved

The team are trained in how to set up the major incident equipment, man the various treatment posts and are given training on basic first aid. The Ambulance Reserve is run and lead by Ambulance and Rescue. To find out more about joining click the link below.
