    Paramedic

    Paramedics are first responders. When someone is sick, injured, or requires transportation to a hospital or other medical facility, paramedics are members of the emergency medical team that arrives first on the scene to provide care and ensure patients remain in a stable condition.

    Emergency Medical Technician

    EMTs are the most common type of providers in EMS and are sometimes referred to as EMTs. EMTs learn the essential skills to help in life-threatening situations and many EMTs go on to earn an Advanced EMT certificate or become a Paramedic.

    Emergency Care Assistant

    As an Emergency Care Assistant (ECA) you’ll work alongside clinicians responding to 999 calls attending every kind of accident and emergency, sometimes covering considerable distances, under normal and emergency driving conditions to get to the scene as quickly and as safely as possible.

    Ambulance Care Assistant

    ACA transport low dependency, non-emergency patients (NEPTS),  ensuring that patients arrive in good time for medical appointments. The role also includes administrative tasks to ensure that all NEPTS bookings and enquiries are dealt with in a polite, efficient and timely manner.
