We are delighted to be working with Guernsey Museums to celebrate our 90th anniversary next month.2026 marks the 90th Anniversary of the creation of the St John Ambulance & Rescue Service.
To commemorate this milestone, Guernsey Museums has partnered with the Ambulance Service to create '90 Years of Serviceâ, a free outdoor display telling the story of those nine decades.
Opening on 2 June to mark the actual anniversary of the start of Ambulance and Rescue Guernsey, the series of large outdoor display panels trace the serviceâs journey from its humble origins starting with one second-hand ambulance housed in a garage at a concrete works, to the organisation the island relies on today.
