Last week we welcomed international work experience student Frank to Guernsey.
Frank is a student paramedic from Zurich, he has previously volunteered as a first aider with St John Ambulance in Kent and has also undertaken work experience in Iceland.
Frank spent time with emergency ambulance crews, responding to medical cases around the island and also had the opportunity to attend a case on the Flying Christine marine ambulance.

Emergency response driver training is due to continue at locations around the island today and over the coming days. This means that from time to time you may see more ambulance vehicles using blue lights and sirens.
This training is essential to allow our crews to respond safely and efficiently to medical emergencies around the island.
