Over the Bank Holiday weekend Guernsey’s ambulance service experienced periods of increased demand with a total of 79 calls between Saturday morning and Monday night.
On Sunday crews responded to 21 calls during the 14 hour nightshift. This compares to our normal daily average of 19 calls in 24 hours.
Our team in Alderney also responded to a further 10 cases over the 3 days.
